Throughout history, one thing has remained constant: great leaders never walked alone. They built others. They invested in people. They understood that leadership is not about how long you stay in power, but about who you raise along the way. When we look closely, we realize that every lasting legacy was shaped through mentorship, vision, and a deep commitment to developing others.

As we mark International Day of Education, this reflection feels more important than ever. This year’s theme on the power of youth in co-creating education speaks directly to the world we live in today. A world facing conflict and war, inequality, climate change, and deep social divides. And in the middle of all this, Quality Education remains one of the strongest tools we have to shape a better future.

But only if we get it right.
