Tetea Scholars & Leaders Program
Empowering Futures Through Education
This program is a lifeline for vulnerable children, offering more than just school fees—it’s a promise to journey with them from Form 1 to 4, ensuring they thrive both academically and personally. By harnessing the transformative power of education, we aim to break the cycle of poverty and nurture future leaders.
What sets this program apart is its holistic approach. It not only supports students but also actively involves parents and caregivers, fostering a collaborative effort to create safe, nurturing environments at home. By addressing students' needs during school terms and breaks, we ensure they have the stability to focus on learning.
Beyond financial aid, the Tetea Scholars & Leaders Program emphasizes mentorship, guiding young minds toward holistic growth, instilling leadership skills, and shaping their journey toward a brighter future. Together, we’re building a generation of changemakers ready to transform their communities.
Tetea Repatriation Project
Restoring Lives, Rebuilding Futures
This initiative is dedicated to reintegrating young adults who have grown up in rescue centers or children’s homes back into mainstream society. Having faced hardships like the loss of caregivers, gender-based violence, FGM, and other forms of neglect, these individuals require holistic support to transition into independent living.
Through the Repatriation Project, we provide essentials such as bedding, kitchen supplies, hygiene products, and cooking gas to help them establish their own homes. Beyond material support, we run a one-year mentorship program designed to foster leadership skills and offer guidance as they rebuild their lives with dignity and hope. This is not just about settling into a new home; it's about creating a foundation for a brighter, empowered future.
Tetea Food Basket Campaign
Fighting Hunger, Building Healthier Futures
This campaign is dedicated to addressing the malnutrition crisis in our communities, with a special focus on school-going children aged 4-12. By providing essential dry food items such as fortified porridge flour, maize flour, wheat flour, beans, and other grains, we aim to improve the nutritional status and overall health of vulnerable families.
Through the Community Nutrition Initiative (CNI), a key component of the program, we ensure children receive the nutrients they need to support growth, cognitive development, and academic performance.
Additionally, the Food Basket Campaign extends its support to entire communities during drought emergencies (Community Food Drives), providing not just food assistance but also hope and resilience in times of adversity. Together, we strive to create healthier, stronger communities for a brighter future.
Tetea Global Schools Campaign
Empowering Students, Advancing Sustainability
This campaign is a dynamic platform that engages students, educators, and communities to spark real change. Through our Mentorship Program, we empower young minds in both primary and secondary schools to navigate life's challenges with confidence. We tackle vital issues like Mental Health, Personal Identity, Menstrual Health and Period Poverty, Wealth and Intellect, Smart Education, and various forms of abuse, providing the guidance needed to foster resilience, self-awareness, and positive change.
In addition, our focus on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) raises awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), aiming to combat Extreme Poverty, Inequality, and the most pressing global issues such as Climate Change, FGM, and Gender-Based Violence. By inspiring students to take action and become agents of change, we are building a future that is more just, sustainable, and inclusive for everyone.
